On The Way to Another 8 and 8 Season
(DEATHSTAR, Arlington) – Cowboys got blown out again last night. I must confess, I was moderately hopeful at the end of the first half. But, I was worried because of the trend that I have seen of late.
Back in the 90’s, it seemed the Cowboys would go in at half-time, make adjustments, and come out and crush their opponent in the second half. However, lately, the opposite seems to be the case. Their opponent goes in, makes adjustments, and shuts down the Cowboys.
I saw an interesting article title written by Clarence E. Hill Jr. in the Star Telegram:
Coach Jason Garrett posed possibility of losing out to falling Cowboys
This was followed at the end of the article by this telling quote from Dak Prescott:
“Coach Garrett couldn’t put it in better words in giving our options all the way down from 11-5 to 5-11. It’s up to us to figure out what we want to do.”
Yes, because after all what does a coach really do? For that matter who really needs a coach?
